During my daily motivational video binge, I heard something that really stuck with me: “a true alpha PROTECTS the weak.” The people out there that think they’re tough when they exploit others and treat them badly really aren’t the big/tough people we might think they are. I was immediately reminded of the saying, “rudeness is a weak man’s imitation of strength.”
Rudeness, bullying and belittling is the ultimate form of weakness. It is the embodiment of insecurity and self hatred. The bullies, corporate sharks, huge egos of the world really are the weakest members of society, doing the opposite of what a true alpha would be inclined to do.
True superiority is becoming better than our former selves, not our fellow humans. Everyone is equal, but not everyone’s habits are equal. Strip away all titles and material, and see people for who they really are – on the same level. Hierarchy is antiquated, and an equitable appraisal of people, without judgement is what’s necessary to succeed.
